ANNANDALE, MINNESOTA — True Friends today announced that CEO John LeBlanc will conclude his tenure following 12 years of leadership dedicated to strengthening community, connection, and access for people of all abilities. LeBlanc will continue to serve in his role while the Board of Directors conducts a search for the organization’s next President and CEO.
LeBlanc shared his plans to step into a new chapter focused on spending more time with family, traveling, and exploring new opportunities while remaining connected to the True Friends community.
Through over a decade of leadership, LeBlanc helped shape True Friends into a resilient, forward-looking organization rooted in belonging and shared experiences. He strengthened the organization’s financial foundation, positioning it for long-term sustainability and growth. His leadership was instrumental in advancing the vision for the Cambria Recreation Center, transforming a bold idea into a welcoming space that will serve individuals, families, and communities for years to come.
LeBlanc also built a strong, collaborative leadership team, empowering staff across programs, including Camp, Travel, Therapy and Adaptive Riding, our equine-assisted therapy program, Respite, Team Building, and Retreats, to lead with purpose and deepen the organization’s impact year-round.
