True Friends celebrates a triumphant re-launch of our Travel program. This year, we hosted 14 unforgettable trips, which provided 60 accessible experiences and adventures for enthusiastic travelers. When asking for feedback, 100% of travelers said they’d likely book future trips and would recommend True Friends to friends wanting similar experiences. Each trip was designed to cater to a variety of interests, ensuring that everyone found something they loved.
Cultural and Arts Trips
Our cultural and arts trips took travelers to iconic destinations, including Elvis’s Graceland in Memphis. In June we saw what the old west had to offer in the outdoor Medora Musical. In July we rocked out to artists at Country Jam. And finally, we enjoyed a lively music adventure in September with plenty of live shows in Branson, MO.

Sports and Adventure Trips
For the sports and adventure enthusiasts, we organized thrilling experiences like the Midwest Baseball Extravaganza in Chicago. We felt the rumbling of engines at NASCAR action at Kansas Speedway. The Vikings Training Camp trip offered plenty of chances to yell SKOL! Lastly, we offered a chance to escape into nature with our fishing poles with the Minnesota Fishing Adventure.

Travelers seeking leisure and relaxation found their perfect getaway through pampering at our Ladies’ Spa Weekend. In June we took a tour of CocoCay, Bahamas through a luxurious Royal Caribbean Cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. We ended the season with a Dude Ranch experience on horseback at Tanque Verde in Tucson, AZ.

With such a diverse lineup, it was an exciting year to re-launch Travel and have trips filled with adventures, new friendships, and cherished memories. Therefore, we can’t wait to provide even more accessible trips to individuals with disabilities in 2025, because everyone deserves to travel without limits.
