Guided by over 65 years of experience serving individuals with disabilities and chronic medical conditions, True Friends has expanded to provide individuals of all abilities

Our Programs
Created for individuals with disabilities, True Friends offers programming options that include Summer Camp, Weekend and Weekday Respite, Therapy and Adaptive Riding, and Travel.
Our programs provide specialized experiences for children and adults, ages five years old to over 100, with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.


Our Services
True Friends offers programming, rental opportunities, and meeting spaces for individuals of all abilities.
Our Retreats and Team Building programs support schools, universities, churches, and special events for groups large and small, regardless of individual ability.
Host your own retreat or weeklong camp with us, or simply spend the day with your coworkers reconnecting.
Our Locations
True Friends offers four locations across the state of Minnesota including Camp Courage in Maple Lake, Camp Friendship in Annandale, Camp Eden Wood in Eden Prairie, and Camp Courage North in Lake George.
From small lakeside retreats in the Northwoods, to large team meetings and summer camp in the Twin Cities backyard of Eden Prairie, our locations provide opportunities for groups of five to 300.

Offering both seasonal and year-round positions, True Friends is always looking for people to serve our mission. From housekeeping and foodservice, to team building facilitators and direct support professionals, True Friends is in need of compassionate individuals seeking a
mission-based, nonprofit organization.

Volunteer
Every year True Friends welcomes over 400 youth and adult groups or family volunteers who contribute over 20,000 services hours. Volunteer support is valuable to True Friends. From working with participants to offering time and energy to keeping our locations maintained, our volunteers truly enhance the experience we provide.
