Alpha Delta Kappa Visits Camp Courage North

A group of women from Alpha Delta Kappa came out for a tour of Camp Courage North in Lake George on Thursday, June 26. This organization named Courage North as their altruistic project for 2014. They raised over $2,000 for program items as well as a matching $500 for camperships for Courage North!

The group was on a “Mystery Tour” and camp was the first stop at 9AM! They were shown around the gorgeous grounds while hearing about the unique history of Courage North from its start as Deubner to the Courage Center and our new merger information. They also heard about the legends of the old Cook who visits Fort Lund as well as the spirits of Walter and Lydia here today. They were also able to see some programs in action as the Camp Discovery campers were at camp.

As teachers, they were especially interested in the education element we do here for our camp sessions. We look forward to a long relationship with this group.
